A Qi Men Destiny Chart starts from the birth date and time. The birth chart describes long-term patterns, eight major cycles frame the broader stages of life, and annual influences highlight a particular year. It is separate from a Qi Men hour chart cast for one question at the time it is asked.
What does the free chart include?
The free result includes the complete nine-palace birth chart, cycle direction, starting traditional age, all eight major life cycles, and the ten annual influences in the current cycle. Each year shows its palace and major relationship to the active cycle.
How are age and annual influences calculated?
The calculator uses traditional East Asian age reckoning, with birth counted as age one. The report reads the current year by default, so you do not need to choose a separate report year.
What is the difference between a Destiny Chart and an hour chart?
A Destiny Chart uses the birth time to examine long-term patterns, major life cycles, and annual influences. A Qi Men hour chart uses the current or a chosen time to examine one specific matter. Use the Destiny Chart for broader life stages and an hour chart for a concrete decision or situation.
What is free and what uses a report credit?
The nine-palace chart, eight major life cycles, ten years in the current cycle, and saved profiles are free. Generating a detailed AI interpretation uses one report credit, and the completed report remains available afterward.

Will a failed generation use another credit?
No. Once a chart is unlocked, retries for that same report do not consume another credit.
