QimenMind · San Yuan Qimen
Choose a time and cast the complete nine-palace chart. When you need an interpretation, ask Dunyuan about one specific matter.
Use the current China Standard Time or enter another solar or lunar date. After casting, check the date, time, solar term, Yin or Yang Dun, and Ju number before reading the stars, gates, spirits, and stems in the nine palaces.
Qimen works best for a current interview, partnership, relationship conversation, trip, payment, or decision. A focused question such as “Should I keep waiting for this interview result this week?” is more useful than a request for general luck. Cast a new chart when the person or matter changes.
Define the question and the Useful God (Yong Shen) for each role first. Then read Zhifu, Zhishi, the relevant palaces, five-element relationships, strength, and special states. Finally use Yuan Shen, Yuan Qi, Tian Yi, Fei Fu, and Jin Tui to judge how the situation may develop.
Describe one specific situation. Dunyuan will explain the conclusion, the main chart facts, a risk to watch, and a practical next step.
BaZi uses birth data to explore long-term structure and life cycles. Qimen starts from the time of a specific matter to examine current conditions and action choices.
Enter a solar or lunar date, hour, and minute. The current time is converted to Beijing time (UTC+8) automatically. For manual entry, convert other time zones to UTC+8 first. Location and true solar time corrections are not applied. Shared links preserve the selected time and chart. For a destiny (birth) chart, use the lifetime chart and enter the local clock time at the birthplace instead.
QMDJ is short for Qi Men Dun Jia. Qimen Dunjia and Qimendunjia are other common spellings, and this page provides the complete QMDJ calculator.
The calculator computes and displays the nine palaces. AI reading uses your question to explain Useful Gods, palace relationships, and the reasons behind a judgment, and you can ask follow-up questions on the same chart. Each account gets its first 3 AI answers free; the allowance does not reset daily.
Check the casting time and question, identify the Useful Gods, then read Zhifu, Zhishi, the relevant palaces, and their special states.
Avoid recasting just to seek a different answer. Continue on the original chart unless the person, matter, or material conditions change.
You do not need to download anything. QimenMind is a web-based Qi Men Dun Jia calculator that runs in any phone or desktop browser, and casting a chart is free. To use it like an app, choose “Add to Home Screen” in your phone browser and open it from the icon.
QimenMind uses the San Yuan Qimen system taught through Master Zuo Ye Lao Dao’s lineage and is developed and maintained by a direct lineage disciple. Automatic Ju selection uses the solar term, day-pillar Futou, and upper, middle, or lower Yuan. Readings follow Yuan Shen, Yuan Qi, Tian Yi, Fei Fu, and Jin Tui.
